Using B-960 transceivers

B-960 Transceivers appear as both Transmitters and Receivers in MoIP System Management with different IDs for each stream.

Note: B-960 and B-900 devices cannot pass video to each other, but B-960 devices are compatible with the audio-only B-900-MOIP-AUDIO-RX and B-900-MOIP-AUDIO-TX devices.

Pro Tip: Make sure each transceiver Input and Output are named to make routing selections easy to understand. For example, instead of leaving it as TR#2 TX, name it Bedroom TV TR and name the input Bedroom BluRay TR.

Abbreviation meanings:

  • TR# — Transceiver unit. Acts as a receiver.

  • TR# TX — Transceiver unit number's transmitter.

  • TR# AR — Transceiver unit number's audio return.

Configuring B-960 transceivers

Click the edit (pencil) icon to configure a transceiver from MoIP System Management, or select the transceiver from the Device list and click the Configure tab.

Use the sidebar to select the Outputs and Inputs you want to configure.

Pro Tip: Disable power-saving settings on connected devices to help maintain the video stream.

B-960 transceiver's outputs and inputs act like downmixing transmitters and receivers. Read more about these settings at Configuring MoIP Video Receivers and Configuring MoIP Video Transmitters.
